The Constitution Study
Weekdays 4 PM ET
The American people, through ignorance and apathy, have lost their love for their rights and liberties. Our rights are trampled daily by governments, universities, the media, and businesses both large and small. Yet the vast majority of Americans not only bow to the pressure to relinquish their rights, they frequently ask for them to be taken. What are we to do?
Since 2014 Paul Engel has been helping everyday Americans read and study the Constitution of their country and teaching the rising generation to be free. In this program, Paul uses news and current events as a springboard to help explain the Constitution and encourage others to stand up for their rights, their children’s rights, and those of the nation.
The goal of this program is to help everyday people defend their rights by reading, studying, and understanding the supreme law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America. Author and speaker, Paul Engel has spent more than 20 years studying and teaching about both the Bible and the U.S. Constitution. That experience helps Paul explain difficult concepts in a way most people can understand. As one manager described, “Paul can take the most complex idea and explain it in a way my grandmother can understand.”
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – When we think of organized crime, figures like Al Capone and fictional characters such as Vito Corleone often come to mind. Yet, if we consider the scale of influence and control, the federal government surpasses any known crime syndicate. Through a mix of bribes and threats, it exerts a formidable presence, challenging our notions of power and coercion.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – As the 2024 election looms, it becomes evident that battles, both legal and tactical, are shaping up. With a focus beyond the presidential race, any contest might spark a legal challenge, with courts ultimately deciding outcomes. The electoral battlespace is being prepared, tactics refined, and the importance of strategic advantage underscored, revealing the intensifying struggle for the future of our republic.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Exploring the intertwined nature of America’s debt and greed, I delve into how our cultural obsession with money fuels economic policies, leading to growing national debt and societal issues. From public education to fiscal irresponsibility, I discuss the moral and financial consequences of our greed, urging a reevaluation of our priorities for a more sustainable future.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – We explore the crucial debate between the quality and quantity of education, highlighting the significance of knowing the Constitution. Through examples of judicial nominees and initiatives by the Foundation for the Restoration of America, we uncover the essence of true learning. Christine Altenberger’s dedication to promoting America’s founding principles shines a light on the path to preserving our freedoms.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – I delve into the essence of truth, referencing Jesus’s teachings to explore how truth is foundational to freedom. I argue against the passive consumption of information, advocating for active truth-seeking as a means to protect our liberty. Through biblical insights, I encourage readers to value truth above comfort, emphasizing personal responsibility in discerning truth from misinformation.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – We the People, have put every member of Congress into that position and, for the most part, refuse to hold them accountable for effectively bankrupting the United States. Alexis de Tocqueville was correct. The republic survived until Congress figured out how to bribe the public with its own money. Do you remember the line from the movie The Empire Strikes Back?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – “When the bough breaks, the cradle will fall.” We have built our lives on the bough of trust in the United States, on the ideas of freedom and justice for all. However, recent polling has shown that Americans are losing trust not just in our institutions but also in the basic ideas of freedom, justice, and the United States itself. What happens when that bough of trust breaks?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Things are pretty interesting in America right now. Courts are whipping Texas law SB4 back and forth like a tennis match. States and cities appear to have lost all sense of truth and justice. And while the American people prepare for another election, chaos still reigns over some previous ones. It seems like we’re living in some interesting times.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – The most important comment I’ve heard so far is when Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson was worried that the First Amendment would be used to hamstring the government. It seems she missed the point of the Bill of Rights. Does the Constitution mean what it says, or can it be ignored in certain situations? The Biden Administration Censorship case, Murthy v. Missouri…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – We’ve all had that jerk on social media. The one we have to block because of their language, or just because they’re being a jerk. But what if you’re a public official? Can you block one of your constituents from your social media page? In a couple of recent SCOTUS cases, people sued public officials for blocking them from their social media pages. Today, we’ll take a look at how SCOTUS decided this case…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – I often wonder if the logic used today is sheer arrogance or just an excuse to say, ‘It’s not my fault!’ Governments, using the pandemic as a pretext, infringe on our rights, citing ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ justifications. From election interference by tech giants to questionable financial decisions, it’s clear that crises are opportunities for power grabs. It’s not just a pandemic issue; it’s about political…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Discovering truths behind seemingly outrageous claims is my latest journey. From Schumer’s outcry on Russian interference to Canada’s controversial bill, the quest for deeper understanding never ends. Delving into the environmental impact of electric vehicles versus gas-powered ones reveals unexpected truths. Each revelation prompts a “Are you kidding me?” moment, pushing me…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Exploring the theatricality of Congressional committee hearings, I delve into the recent House Judiciary Committee’s scrutiny of Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report on the Biden document scandal. Beyond media narratives, political grandstanding on both sides is evident. Additionally, I tackle the complex debate surrounding the potential TikTok ban in the US, cutting through the rhetoric…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Exploring the fine print in agreements is crucial, yet often overlooked. This piece delves into the importance of reading contracts, especially regarding legislative documents and Joe Biden’s proposed 2025 budget. Uncovering potential surprises within these texts, I highlight the necessity of being informed, while promising to share both good and bad news, with a focus on the latter’s…
