The Constitution Study
Weekdays 4 PM ET
The American people, through ignorance and apathy, have lost their love for their rights and liberties. Our rights are trampled daily by governments, universities, the media, and businesses both large and small. Yet the vast majority of Americans not only bow to the pressure to relinquish their rights, they frequently ask for them to be taken. What are we to do?
Since 2014 Paul Engel has been helping everyday Americans read and study the Constitution of their country and teaching the rising generation to be free. In this program, Paul uses news and current events as a springboard to help explain the Constitution and encourage others to stand up for their rights, their children’s rights, and those of the nation.
The goal of this program is to help everyday people defend their rights by reading, studying, and understanding the supreme law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America. Author and speaker, Paul Engel has spent more than 20 years studying and teaching about both the Bible and the U.S. Constitution. That experience helps Paul explain difficult concepts in a way most people can understand. As one manager described, “Paul can take the most complex idea and explain it in a way my grandmother can understand.”
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – As we reflect on the shadows of segregation’s past, a new form of division emerges: political segregation. This reality sees individuals marginalized for their political beliefs, challenging the very essence of democracy. Stories unfold of denied rights and silenced voices, urging us to question the principles we stand for. Will we allow this new segregation to define us, or will we stand united?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – I explore the recurring theft of democracy, highlighting the 2020 election controversies and ongoing efforts undermining voter rights. Joe Biden’s executive actions and judicial overreaches are scrutinized, alongside the broader assault on individual liberties. I argue for personal responsibility in safeguarding our electoral integrity, emphasizing that complacency permits these breaches to continue.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – I hear people frequently talking about the Constitution as if it’s some sort of superhero ⏤ like it will sweep in and save the day. But the Constitution is just ink on parchment, words on paper, and has no power to fix the ills of our country. As delegate to the Constitutional Convention, John Francis Mercer said: It is a great mistake to suppose that the paper we are to propose will govern the United States. It is the men whom it will bring…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – If you’ve got a pen and a phone, can you simply ignore the law and do what you think is right? Government officials have been doing that for years, rarely with any consequences. Do the ends justify the means? With so many people justifying their actions by claiming they’re for the public good, that question should be at the forefront of our minds…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – As the Supreme Court intervenes in the ongoing fallout from January 6th, questions loom over Donald Trump’s disqualification and the broader implications for sentencing and federal actions. From the Colorado Supreme Court to the D.C. Appeals Court, each decision reshapes our understanding of justice and democracy. Yet, an FBI…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Now, having seen what social media has done to us, the American people seem to be looking to artificial intelligence to pick up the slack in their thinking. Don’t write that article or create that art; ask a computer to do it for you. I wonder, if social media helped us become more anti-social, will artificial intelligence help us to become more unintelligent? What do these two topics have in common?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – In the United States, the freedom of certain religions faces increasing threats, a disturbing trend often overlooked by many. As rights to self-defense also come under siege, I’m reminded of Martin Niemöller’s poignant poem. This reflection urges us to stand for those whose rights are being attacked, lest we find our own liberties…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – I delve into the troubling state of our government leadership. Self-absorbed officials prioritize power over constitutional duties, leading to questionable decisions and actions. From the IRS spying on Americans to financial manipulations for votes, it’s clear: the lunatics are running the asylum. Einstein’s words on insanity resonate…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – As a teenager, I learned to navigate an airplane, embracing the joy and responsibility it entailed. Today, I see parallels in navigating life’s challenges. Too many have relinquished their chart and compass, letting others dictate their path. I share a secret: I have a chart and compass for life, ready to guide us through responsibility and choice.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Let’s look at the resumes and the interviews for those new job candidates as closely as we would when hiring a new employee. Perhaps if we started treating our elections as job openings, we’d hire a better class of public servants. What if, rather than casting our ballots based on our team and hoping for the best, we actually looked at those asking for our votes as either current employees up for review or new employee interviews?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Exploring the misuse of science and the law, I delve into how these powerful tools are often twisted for personal agendas. I emphasize the importance of understanding the Constitution and taking personal responsibility to protect our rights. Join me in uncovering the truth behind scientific and legal corruption and learn to assert…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Tucker Carlson and Mike Benz raise concerns about government influence on social media to manipulate presidential elections. With claims of recorded proof, the situation seems dire. Yet, there’s hope in citizen journalism exposing this corruption. Our persistence could reignite the flames of liberty, ensuring the survival of our republic…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – In our silence, evil thrives. I urge us to confront societal ills, starting at home and extending to our communities. As Dietrich Bonhoeffer wisely stated, moral societies are judged by the world they leave for future generations. Let’s shift our focus from what’s left to us, to the legacy we’re creating for our children. Join me in this crucial endeavor…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Ronald Reagan famously said, “Trust, but verify.” Trust is a funny thing. Trust should be earned, but is often granted for the most ridiculous reasons. Because the person from the right political party gives a good speech or checks the right boxes in some perverse game of diversity bingo. Even worse is when we trust people not because we have a good reason but because someone tells us we must…
