The Constitution Study
Weekdays 4 PM ET
The American people, through ignorance and apathy, have lost their love for their rights and liberties. Our rights are trampled daily by governments, universities, the media, and businesses both large and small. Yet the vast majority of Americans not only bow to the pressure to relinquish their rights, they frequently ask for them to be taken. What are we to do?
Since 2014 Paul Engel has been helping everyday Americans read and study the Constitution of their country and teaching the rising generation to be free. In this program, Paul uses news and current events as a springboard to help explain the Constitution and encourage others to stand up for their rights, their children’s rights, and those of the nation.
The goal of this program is to help everyday people defend their rights by reading, studying, and understanding the supreme law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America. Author and speaker, Paul Engel has spent more than 20 years studying and teaching about both the Bible and the U.S. Constitution. That experience helps Paul explain difficult concepts in a way most people can understand. As one manager described, “Paul can take the most complex idea and explain it in a way my grandmother can understand.”

America Out Loud Network © – The goal of this program is to help everyday people defend their rights by reading, studying, and understanding the supreme law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Americans are addicted to federal money, just as they are to tobacco or alcohol. This addiction fuels skyrocketing debt, endless deficits, and financial instability. Until people recognize the problem, real change is impossible. With $36 trillion in debt and interest payments surpassing defense spending, how close are we to rock bottom? It’s time for a wake-up call.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Washington, D.C. feels more like a political circus, with clowns in Congress making a spectacle of themselves. From judges overstepping their power to lawmakers treating censure like a civil rights battle, the absurdity knows no bounds. Even state politics aren’t immune, as Maine lawmakers punish free speech. It’s a comedy—just without the laughs.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Judicial activism persists, raising questions about what truly defines an activist judge. Is it one who upholds the Constitution or one who twists the law to fit personal views? This explores the fine line between duty and activism, highlighting how some judges—and even others in power—undermine justice by prioritizing opinions over the rule of law.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – During Trump’s address to Congress, a deeper issue within the federal government was revealed—partisan revenge politics. George Washington warned against this in his farewell address, calling it a “frightful despotism.” The rising political division isn’t just about one party; it’s a systemic problem that threatens unity. Will this escalating dissension be what ultimately pulls the nation apart?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Many assume they have rights that, in reality, infringe on others. From freedom of speech to government positions, not everything is as it seems. Whether it’s international leaders expecting financial aid or small groups dictating language changes, the line between rights and entitlement is often blurred. Explore the misconceptions that shape society and governance today.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Judges are increasingly treating the Constitution as if it doesn’t apply, issuing rulings that contradict its clear text. From preventing a president from exercising executive power to ignoring parental rights, courts are overstepping their bounds. Simply reading the Constitution reveals the truth—our legal system is straying from its foundational principles.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – As Tax Day nears, the spotlight is on America’s grim fiscal outlook. With Congress scrambling to prevent a government shutdown, wasteful spending and economic instability remain unchecked. From bloated federal programs to the shaky U.S. dollar, the nation’s financial future looks uncertain. Can real change happen, or is the system too broken to fix?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – A whistleblower recently said they have evidence that the FBI used a pair of undercover female agents to “honey-pot” the Trump campaign in 2015. How’s that for a bombshell secret? What about the exposure of numerous members of the intelligence community holding pornographic conversations on an NSA communications system? Those may be bombshells, but there’s more…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – America’s growing reliance on lawsuits has turned it into an extremely litigious society, where judges wield excessive power over the law. When courts overstep their bounds and federal officials violate their oaths without accountability, the foundation of a Constitutional Republic is at risk. Without checks on judicial overreach, are we truly governed by laws or by unelected opinions?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Since the 1980s, political correctness has led to suppressing truth and promoting lies out of fear. The best way to combat deception is through exposure—letting the “sunshine” disinfect falsehoods. From gender debates to government actions, revealing reality ensures accountability. If something is true, it will withstand scrutiny; if not, let it be exposed.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – If you want to get people’s dander up, go after their money, jobs, or access to information. Other than our families, these are the areas of our lives we tend to protect the most vigorously. This may explain why so many people are complaining about and suing DOGE. After all, DOGE has exposed billions in waste, fraud, and abuse…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – The American public education system is failing, with low proficiency rates and high dissatisfaction despite massive spending. Generations of students are left without essential skills or knowledge of their rights. How long will Americans endure this broken system before reclaiming responsibility for education? The time to demand real change is now.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – When Alexander Hamilton wrote Federalist Paper #78, where he described what he called “the judiciary department of the proposed government,” he pointed out that “Whoever attentively considers the different departments of power must perceive, that, in a government in which they are separated from each other, the judiciary, from the nature of its functions, will always be…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has exposed waste, fraud, and abuse, but lawsuits aim to shut it down. Why are so many against auditing federal agencies? Is it about protecting the public or hiding Deep State corruption? As legal battles continue, will Americans support transparency or allow government secrecy to prevail?
