The Constitution Study
Weekdays 4 PM ET
The American people, through ignorance and apathy, have lost their love for their rights and liberties. Our rights are trampled daily by governments, universities, the media, and businesses both large and small. Yet the vast majority of Americans not only bow to the pressure to relinquish their rights, they frequently ask for them to be taken. What are we to do?
Since 2014 Paul Engel has been helping everyday Americans read and study the Constitution of their country and teaching the rising generation to be free. In this program, Paul uses news and current events as a springboard to help explain the Constitution and encourage others to stand up for their rights, their children’s rights, and those of the nation.
The goal of this program is to help everyday people defend their rights by reading, studying, and understanding the supreme law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America. Author and speaker, Paul Engel has spent more than 20 years studying and teaching about both the Bible and the U.S. Constitution. That experience helps Paul explain difficult concepts in a way most people can understand. As one manager described, “Paul can take the most complex idea and explain it in a way my grandmother can understand.”
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Lest we, the American people, exercise our duty to hire representatives in government, men, and women, who will exercise our power in our name. The only reason we can do that is because veterans have for years sacrificed to defend the Constitution of the United States. How many Americans didn’t vote or only voted for the top couple of lines on the ballot?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – “There ought to be a law!” We’ve all heard that, and there are thousands of laws on the books. But laws against murder haven’t stopped murder; neither have laws against assault, theft, and fraud. So, if laws don’t stop evil, what good are they? Laws define crimes and their punishments, but it is the enforcement of those laws that matters. That goes for statutory laws as…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Remember when presidential elections didn’t heat up until Labor Day and wrapped up on Election Night? Today, it feels like election outcomes drag on, with lingering controversies and challenges. Addressing these issues openly strengthens trust in the process. How can we improve if we’re unwilling to admit mistakes? Learning from past elections is crucial for progress.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Eighty percent of Americans believe words can hurt, but isn’t that view a bit childish? While politicians react to simple jokes and sarcasm as if they’re physical blows, it reflects our own societal immaturity. We can’t expect leaders to grow up until we do. Perhaps it’s time for Americans to put away such childish sensitivities.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – The love of money fuels political power in America, driving billionaires and unions to spend millions on campaigns. With Congress wielding public funds as influence, many voters accept these “bribes,” swaying decisions based on promised gains rather than true leadership. As Tocqueville warned, this cycle raises questions about democracy’s future when money dictates power.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – First, we have ballot drop boxes being set on fire in the Pacific Northwest, voting machine passwords disclosed in Colorado, and illegal votes being counted in New York, all of which are fodder for those who wish to question the outcome of the election. Add to that a poll showing that a quarter of Americans and half of Gen Zers who appear so afraid of…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Just as good intelligence is important to keep us safe, bad intelligence can lead to disastrous decisions. While we tend to think of intelligence as something done at the national level, We the People collect and use intelligence every day. What can we learn about candidates and elected officials? How can we use that information? Probably most importantly, how accurate is the…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Censorship wears many disguises today, from “inclusiveness” to “disinformation.” Microsoft’s “Inclusiveness Checker” reminds me of political correctness from the ’80s and ’90s—language control by so-called experts. While I avoid offending others, some truths must be told, especially around election integrity, where honest questions inspire confidence rather than discouraging voters.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Ever feel surrounded by others telling you how to raise your child? Imagine that voice backed by government threats. Today, I reveal shocking examples of parental rights under siege—from police and schools pushing agendas to cases of custody battles over identity. Who’s really raising our children: parents or the government? The village looms large.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Do you remember the Rolling Stones song You Can’t Always Get What You Want? Well, it’s true, you can’t always get what you want, but if you don’t ask, you never will. That’s why voting is so important. While participating doesn’t guarantee you get the outcome you want, not voting doesn’t make the situation any better…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – The word “imbecile” might seem harsh, yet it feels accurate when examining recent trends in our education system. Time spent in academia often seems to drain common sense, replacing it with fleeting social fads. As parents witnessed during COVID-19, the curriculum’s political biases and disregard for their values sparked a surge in homeschooling nationwide.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Ever notice those who push environmental agendas with a hidden agenda? Some so-called environmentalists use collectivist tactics, like government mandates, to control choices—everything from electric cars to appliance usage. Agencies like the EPA and NASA promote political goals under the guise of environmentalism. It’s time to question if these “climate commies” truly serve us.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Laws don’t prevent crime; they define it and assign punishments. When laws go unenforced, particularly election laws, democracy falters. During election judge training, I hear of overlooked mismatched signatures, raising concerns about integrity. From “Zuckerbucks” to election interference, I explore how unenforced laws risk undermining the transparency and fairness essential to our voting system.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – The republic stands fractured, as Americans increasingly look to the government for solutions to every challenge, from education to disaster relief. This dependency erodes personal freedom and transforms our nation into something resembling an elected monarchy. We must decide: will we continue living comfortably in chains, or reclaim our liberty by shedding government control and striving for independence?
