The Constitution Study
Weekdays 4 PM ET
The American people, through ignorance and apathy, have lost their love for their rights and liberties. Our rights are trampled daily by governments, universities, the media, and businesses both large and small. Yet the vast majority of Americans not only bow to the pressure to relinquish their rights, they frequently ask for them to be taken. What are we to do?
Since 2014 Paul Engel has been helping everyday Americans read and study the Constitution of their country and teaching the rising generation to be free. In this program, Paul uses news and current events as a springboard to help explain the Constitution and encourage others to stand up for their rights, their children’s rights, and those of the nation.
The goal of this program is to help everyday people defend their rights by reading, studying, and understanding the supreme law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America. Author and speaker, Paul Engel has spent more than 20 years studying and teaching about both the Bible and the U.S. Constitution. That experience helps Paul explain difficult concepts in a way most people can understand. As one manager described, “Paul can take the most complex idea and explain it in a way my grandmother can understand.”
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – I remember the original Superman motto; Truth, Justice, and the American Way. Our governments and many institutions are trying to take away our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and replace it with censorship, irrationality, and collectivism. It feels like I’m living in Bizarro World…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – America once had a national moral compass that guided her to become the greatest nation the world has ever seen. But today, our moral compass has been demagnetized. What are the consequences of this moral inversion?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – I’ve studied the Constitution for years and the Bible for decades. One of the most important skills I’ve learned is how to spot gossip being used as evidence. Take some time to listen, then check the Constitution to see if what we’re being told is true…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Worse than the general ignorance of the supreme law of the land are the numerous myths and lies about the Constitution that many Americans follow, like lemmings. We have constitutionally blind people following constitutionally blind politicians, bureaucrats, and judges…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – A recent report about a Washington State teacher may explain the reasoning behind a North Carolina law that purports to create a Parents’ Bill of Rights. But I’m reminded of something a wise man once told me. Before you move a marker, find out why it was there in the first place…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – There was a time in America when a man’s home was his castle, and he was expected to defend it. All of that changed as we turned our lives over to government. We don’t expect to have to protect ourselves; that’s what we have police for. We don’t need to make sure what we buy is safe and effective; that’s what we have regulator agencies…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Critical thinking seems to be a skill many Americans have lost. I believe G.K. Chesterton once described our situation perfectly: “When men choose not to believe in God, they do not thereafter believe in nothing; they then become capable of believing in anything.”
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – When everything becomes groups and stereotypes, individuality gets crushed. And as those labels and stereotypes become doctrine, the liberty to live your life as you see fit gets crushed as well. Today, we’ll look at some of these collectives and the impact collectivism has on American society…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – How long before our good intentions destroy not only the Republic but We the People? By depending on intentions rather than results, we find ourselves in the tyranny of good intentions. We need to limit the production of carbon dioxide, not because it has been proven dangerous, but because it…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – There certainly are plenty of conspiracy theories out there. Lately, though, it seems the difference between a conspiracy theory and one that is true is about six months. With all of the noise and contradictions, how can you tell what is real and what is a conspiracy?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – These self-entitled bureaucrats believe that we are there to serve them. It’s not just the federal workforce, but we see more and more employees acting like their employers are there to serve them. We also see “regulators” and political office holders strutting around like lords and ladies ruling over the deplorables…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – As we stare into the abyss of a new recession that some say will grow into a depression, the collapse of the scientific method, and the intentional debasement of our culture, especially our children, could America and the world be entering a New Dark Age?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – The fundamental misunderstanding of the Constitution and the rule of law in the United States that is being exhibited by the administration, states, and, yes, the media. The latest attempt by a president to trade American sovereignty and the people’s rights for their own aggrandizement…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Look at Congress and the Presidency and ask yourself if these are truly the best 537 Americans we can find to exercise our powers in our name? Would we be better off having the states choose their members of Congress randomly from their citizens? Are those who want to be masters of you…
