The Constitution Study
Weekdays 4 PM ET
The American people, through ignorance and apathy, have lost their love for their rights and liberties. Our rights are trampled daily by governments, universities, the media, and businesses both large and small. Yet the vast majority of Americans not only bow to the pressure to relinquish their rights, they frequently ask for them to be taken. What are we to do?
Since 2014 Paul Engel has been helping everyday Americans read and study the Constitution of their country and teaching the rising generation to be free. In this program, Paul uses news and current events as a springboard to help explain the Constitution and encourage others to stand up for their rights, their children’s rights, and those of the nation.
The goal of this program is to help everyday people defend their rights by reading, studying, and understanding the supreme law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America. Author and speaker, Paul Engel has spent more than 20 years studying and teaching about both the Bible and the U.S. Constitution. That experience helps Paul explain difficult concepts in a way most people can understand. As one manager described, “Paul can take the most complex idea and explain it in a way my grandmother can understand.”
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Critical thinking seems to be a skill many Americans have lost. I believe G.K. Chesterton once described our situation perfectly: “When men choose not to believe in God, they do not thereafter believe in nothing; they then become capable of believing in anything.”
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – When everything becomes groups and stereotypes, individuality gets crushed. And as those labels and stereotypes become doctrine, the liberty to live your life as you see fit gets crushed as well. Today, we’ll look at some of these collectives and the impact collectivism has on American society…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – How long before our good intentions destroy not only the Republic but We the People? By depending on intentions rather than results, we find ourselves in the tyranny of good intentions. We need to limit the production of carbon dioxide, not because it has been proven dangerous, but because it…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – There certainly are plenty of conspiracy theories out there. Lately, though, it seems the difference between a conspiracy theory and one that is true is about six months. With all of the noise and contradictions, how can you tell what is real and what is a conspiracy?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – These self-entitled bureaucrats believe that we are there to serve them. It’s not just the federal workforce, but we see more and more employees acting like their employers are there to serve them. We also see “regulators” and political office holders strutting around like lords and ladies ruling over the deplorables…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – As we stare into the abyss of a new recession that some say will grow into a depression, the collapse of the scientific method, and the intentional debasement of our culture, especially our children, could America and the world be entering a New Dark Age?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – The fundamental misunderstanding of the Constitution and the rule of law in the United States that is being exhibited by the administration, states, and, yes, the media. The latest attempt by a president to trade American sovereignty and the people’s rights for their own aggrandizement…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Look at Congress and the Presidency and ask yourself if these are truly the best 537 Americans we can find to exercise our powers in our name? Would we be better off having the states choose their members of Congress randomly from their citizens? Are those who want to be masters of you…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Many Americans today are being held up, not by a thief on the street, but by our cities, town, and counties, along with our state and federal governments. They may use different methods and invoke different laws, but what they are doing is still theft. And since these governments have armed…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – How can you tell when a politician is lying? The answer I generally get is, “Their lips are moving!” While that might be quite a statement about the character of politicians, what does it say about the American people that we knowingly hire people who are lying to us to exercise our powers in our name?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – From news stories about a court case that may claim to give government the power to police “disinformation”, to illegal federal agencies that are supposed to protect us are now trying to kill us. The tyrants aren’t just in Washington, D.C.; even the states and cities are in on the action…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Politicians use the donkeys vs. elephants to distract us; special interests will often point us in the wrong direction. And, of course, corporate media are masters at misdirection. Just like in a magic show, once you are aware of the “trick,” you can spot the distractions. With a little bit of practice and…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Look at what the progressive leftists are focusing on and ask yourself one question. What is their goal? Is their goal to transform the world to make it better? Do the seeds they sow spread freedom and liberty? Or is their goal to destroy the country that has been the…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Most people seem to focus on the freedom of speech aspect of censorship, but that is only a small part of this particular evil. Censorship is not just about silencing your opponent; it’s about controlling them. It’s about manipulating people, gaslighting them into agreeing with you by preventing them from…
