The Constitution Study
Weekdays 4 PM ET
The American people, through ignorance and apathy, have lost their love for their rights and liberties. Our rights are trampled daily by governments, universities, the media, and businesses both large and small. Yet the vast majority of Americans not only bow to the pressure to relinquish their rights, they frequently ask for them to be taken. What are we to do?
Since 2014 Paul Engel has been helping everyday Americans read and study the Constitution of their country and teaching the rising generation to be free. In this program, Paul uses news and current events as a springboard to help explain the Constitution and encourage others to stand up for their rights, their children’s rights, and those of the nation.
The goal of this program is to help everyday people defend their rights by reading, studying, and understanding the supreme law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America. Author and speaker, Paul Engel has spent more than 20 years studying and teaching about both the Bible and the U.S. Constitution. That experience helps Paul explain difficult concepts in a way most people can understand. As one manager described, “Paul can take the most complex idea and explain it in a way my grandmother can understand.”
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Are you among the many who place too much faith in government actors? It’s important to remember that government is full of people who are not perfect. Will we ever learn Ronald Reagan’s warning about the nine most terrifying words? “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help.”
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – The saying “A lie told often enough becomes the truth” is more relevant today than ever before. It’s time to question the articles of belief we hold and recognize the lies being spread around us. Will liberty and justice in America die for a lie?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Did you know that my new home state, Tennessee, is one of the few states to have legislation that allows them to review the actions of the federal government and nullify them if they are found to be unconstitutional?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – If you’ve spent any time dealing with the question of constitutionality, you’ve heard of judicial review and the false claim that the Supreme Court, in the case Marbury v. Madison, assumed for itself the power of “judicial review” and to overturn legislation. Since the proper answer to “disinformation” is better information…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – I remember the original Superman motto; Truth, Justice, and the American Way. Our governments and many institutions are trying to take away our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and replace it with censorship, irrationality, and collectivism. It feels like I’m living in Bizarro World…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – America once had a national moral compass that guided her to become the greatest nation the world has ever seen. But today, our moral compass has been demagnetized. What are the consequences of this moral inversion?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – I’ve studied the Constitution for years and the Bible for decades. One of the most important skills I’ve learned is how to spot gossip being used as evidence. Take some time to listen, then check the Constitution to see if what we’re being told is true…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Worse than the general ignorance of the supreme law of the land are the numerous myths and lies about the Constitution that many Americans follow, like lemmings. We have constitutionally blind people following constitutionally blind politicians, bureaucrats, and judges…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – A recent report about a Washington State teacher may explain the reasoning behind a North Carolina law that purports to create a Parents’ Bill of Rights. But I’m reminded of something a wise man once told me. Before you move a marker, find out why it was there in the first place…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – There was a time in America when a man’s home was his castle, and he was expected to defend it. All of that changed as we turned our lives over to government. We don’t expect to have to protect ourselves; that’s what we have police for. We don’t need to make sure what we buy is safe and effective; that’s what we have regulator agencies…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Critical thinking seems to be a skill many Americans have lost. I believe G.K. Chesterton once described our situation perfectly: “When men choose not to believe in God, they do not thereafter believe in nothing; they then become capable of believing in anything.”
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – When everything becomes groups and stereotypes, individuality gets crushed. And as those labels and stereotypes become doctrine, the liberty to live your life as you see fit gets crushed as well. Today, we’ll look at some of these collectives and the impact collectivism has on American society…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – How long before our good intentions destroy not only the Republic but We the People? By depending on intentions rather than results, we find ourselves in the tyranny of good intentions. We need to limit the production of carbon dioxide, not because it has been proven dangerous, but because it…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – There certainly are plenty of conspiracy theories out there. Lately, though, it seems the difference between a conspiracy theory and one that is true is about six months. With all of the noise and contradictions, how can you tell what is real and what is a conspiracy?
