The Constitution Study
Weekdays 4 PM ET
The American people, through ignorance and apathy, have lost their love for their rights and liberties. Our rights are trampled daily by governments, universities, the media, and businesses both large and small. Yet the vast majority of Americans not only bow to the pressure to relinquish their rights, they frequently ask for them to be taken. What are we to do?
Since 2014 Paul Engel has been helping everyday Americans read and study the Constitution of their country and teaching the rising generation to be free. In this program, Paul uses news and current events as a springboard to help explain the Constitution and encourage others to stand up for their rights, their children’s rights, and those of the nation.
The goal of this program is to help everyday people defend their rights by reading, studying, and understanding the supreme law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America. Author and speaker, Paul Engel has spent more than 20 years studying and teaching about both the Bible and the U.S. Constitution. That experience helps Paul explain difficult concepts in a way most people can understand. As one manager described, “Paul can take the most complex idea and explain it in a way my grandmother can understand.”
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – With the recent collapse of NFL player Damar Hamlin, people have taken the opportunity to question the safety of the COVID vaccine. It’s not just COVID, but the entire public health bureaucracy has fooled us before, and they’re setting us up to be fooled when it comes to new variants, the vaccine, and not other drugs as well…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – I think that’s an excellent question. It seems some states, cities, and organizations don’t think We the People, can be trusted to defend ourselves. Then again, there’s the other side of the story. Noah Webster pointed out, “Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed.” Whether that standing…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – The IRS is used to manipulate the American people, money is used to influence elections, and censorship is used to suppress dissent. And in the middle of this all, the American people complain but don’t seem to do anything about it. What can we do?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – As Lord Acton said, “Power corrupts, and absolute power tends to corrupt absolutely.” So we should not be surprised that as we have given power over our lives to experts, corruption would soon follow. And as that power has become absolute, so has the corruption. I think it’s time We the People, start vetting our..
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – As Billy Beane said in the movie Moneyball, “If he’s a good hitter, why doesn’t he hit good?” So if those in government are so hated, why do we keep electing them? If media outlets are so untrustworthy, why do so many people listen to them? There are some very interesting numbers in the SPN poll…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Some think that with the Republicans controlling the House of Representatives, they’ll make things better. Or the Democrats having a majority in the Senate. By taking a look at what’s been going on lately, and what laws are going into effect in this new year, maybe we can get a better idea of what…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Do you treat the symptoms or the disease that causes the symptoms? If all you treat are the symptoms, then the disease is never cured, and the symptoms keep coming back. Just as Albert Einstein used to say, doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result, is the definition of insanity…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – In Federalist Paper #69, Alexander Hamilton discussed the differences between the monarch of Great Britain and the proposed President of the US. A look at the chief executive of the federal government today reveals that he looks much more like the monarch than the president Mr. Hamilton described…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – This has been an interesting year. There is an ancient Chinese saying that applies to America in 2022. “May you live in interesting times.” I decided to review some of the episodes from this past year, then see what we might expect for 2023. Finally, I’ll talk about some of the plans I’m making…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – The hypothesis that social media companies are conspiring with those in the federal government to manipulate public perception. How could we build a test for that? One way would be to get access to internal communications from both the social media company and government agencies and look for collusion. Well, Elon Musk has…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – With the recent passage of the $1.7 trillion omnibus bill, we should not only see that We the People have lost all control over the purse, but that our immediate representatives in the House feel no compulsion to restrain their out-of-control spending habits. Many people are asking what can be done about…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Politicians from both parties have scurried down our proverbial chimneys, gathered up our hard-earned cash, and scurried away, congratulating themselves on the good work they have done. I cannot think of a better metaphor than the Grinch when it comes to what Congress did with the $1.7 trillion omnibus bill…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – From Mike Pence, who could have prevented the counting of votes from states with fraudulent elections, to the idea that a Convention of States can fix all of our problems, most of what I hear have one thing in common… They are blatantly unconstitutional! I’m not saying there aren’t problems. But I think the…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – One question I’m frequently asked is where someone can find a good attorney to help them with a case. Sometimes it’s an injury they wish to get redress for; other times, it’s help to overturn a bad law or judicial opinion. One group that has recently come to my attention is the Silent Majority Foundation…
