The Constitution Study
Weekdays 4 PM ET
The American people, through ignorance and apathy, have lost their love for their rights and liberties. Our rights are trampled daily by governments, universities, the media, and businesses both large and small. Yet the vast majority of Americans not only bow to the pressure to relinquish their rights, they frequently ask for them to be taken. What are we to do?
Since 2014 Paul Engel has been helping everyday Americans read and study the Constitution of their country and teaching the rising generation to be free. In this program, Paul uses news and current events as a springboard to help explain the Constitution and encourage others to stand up for their rights, their children’s rights, and those of the nation.
The goal of this program is to help everyday people defend their rights by reading, studying, and understanding the supreme law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America. Author and speaker, Paul Engel has spent more than 20 years studying and teaching about both the Bible and the U.S. Constitution. That experience helps Paul explain difficult concepts in a way most people can understand. As one manager described, “Paul can take the most complex idea and explain it in a way my grandmother can understand.”
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – America only exists as a republic as long as We the People, trust that the people in office are the ones we have chosen. In other words, a republic only exists as long as the people trust their elections. After over 200 years of building trust in our electoral system, the last two decades have done a lot of harm to…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel –Granted, lying amongst the political class is considered part of the job, something We the People, should really take a closer look at when it comes to who we hire to represent us. But as more and more evidence comes out about the lies told to the American people, and the call by some to simply “forgive and forget,”
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – I’ve heard plenty of predictions and promises of the changes that will be made, but should we expect things to be all that different? After all, there were plenty of predictions about sweeping changes after the 2016 elections, and those didn’t come true. So why should we expect things to be different this year?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – What about those who “dance upon the graves” of shooting victims, frequently starting before anything is known about the case? I don’t know about you, but I find that particular character trait truly despicable. Yet here we are again, watching while people run to microphones and cameras to promote their…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – With the recent votes on the so-called Respect for Marriage Act, I started thinking about respect. Respect for the rule of law, for the Constitution, and even respect for the separation of powers. Do our elected employees respect the law that not only created their position but governs what they can do as well?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – There will always be people whose best interest is in conflict with our own. The question is, how many can we show that either what they see as the best interest isn’t, or that it may be good in the short-term, but there is a long-term pain they may not have considered…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – There are two things we need to do, gain knowledge and then put it into action. So let’s start by looking at some recent evidence of the dystopia we are living in, then see how we can gain knowledge and act to restore the freedom and liberty, so many have fought and died for…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – No matter how much evidence there is that not only is the current variant not very dangerous, but that COVID never was that dangerous to the general public, no matter how much evidence that the actions taken in response to COVID have damaged our children, our economy, and the republic in general…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – All we have to do is look to history. If We the People, do not stand for our own liberty, then it will fall in America just as it has in our history and in so many other countries around the world. And if freedom falls in America, where will those yearning to breathe free be able to go?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – While I have repeatedly pointed out that America is a republic, not a democracy, this rhetoric reminded me of Tony Fauci’s line, “I represent science.” So what was really at risk in the last election, democracy, republicanism, or was it something else?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Why deal with all of that message responsibility stuff when those in government promise to take care of you from cradle to grave? And, of course, they always have “experts,” and who cares how often these so-called experts have screwed things up in the past. It seems that the American people are not ready to return to freedom and liberty…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – I think this recent election shows that our attachment to political parties seems to outweigh our love of freedom. After all, if so many people are so dissatisfied with the direction this country is going, why did we vote for the same type of people to point the way for the next two years? Maybe Albert Einstein was correct…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – If we’re willing to stand back and allow organizations like the FBI to watch the American people, the obvious next question should be, “who is watching the watchers?” The Republican Staff of the House Judiciary Committee recently released a report documenting the whistleblower evidence they have received…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – For decades people have been asking the federal government to do what it is not legally allowed to, and then acted surprised as it grew. We voted for people who promised the government would pay for what we want, then complained about the deficits. And for everyone who said we should just…
