The Constitution Study
Weekdays 4 PM ET
The American people, through ignorance and apathy, have lost their love for their rights and liberties. Our rights are trampled daily by governments, universities, the media, and businesses both large and small. Yet the vast majority of Americans not only bow to the pressure to relinquish their rights, they frequently ask for them to be taken. What are we to do?
Since 2014 Paul Engel has been helping everyday Americans read and study the Constitution of their country and teaching the rising generation to be free. In this program, Paul uses news and current events as a springboard to help explain the Constitution and encourage others to stand up for their rights, their children’s rights, and those of the nation.
The goal of this program is to help everyday people defend their rights by reading, studying, and understanding the supreme law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America. Author and speaker, Paul Engel has spent more than 20 years studying and teaching about both the Bible and the U.S. Constitution. That experience helps Paul explain difficult concepts in a way most people can understand. As one manager described, “Paul can take the most complex idea and explain it in a way my grandmother can understand.”
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – We have allowed federal law enforcement to become the jack-booted thugs we see in the news today because we were afraid after Sept. 11, 2001. Today, if you see someone come to your door with an FBI jacket on, realize that it no longer stands for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, but for the…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Most people I talk to say they place a high value on things like freedom, liberty, and their rights, but do our actions match our rhetoric? It’s one thing when government pays you for the rights they infringe on, either with cash or services. What about when they simply walk up and take it? Those in government often claim they do it because…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – It appears the American people are proving those words from Santayana. It should not take much to realize that the United States, and in fact much of the world, is repeating the history of 1930s Europe, not to mention Russia in 1917 and China in the 1960s. Yet it seems. We the People, are content to be led back to those dark…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Bill after bill, resolution after resolution that John Quincy Adams submitted failed. His fight for legislation to ban the slave trade was so tenacious that the House passed a rule nicknamed “The John Quincy Adams Gag Rule” in an attempt to silence him, but he never gave up. When asked how he persevered in the face of…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Most people recognize that the Fourth Amendment protects your privacy. Actually, it is a tool to protect you from unreasonable searches and seizures. The story about why we needed this protection is an important one, and the hero at the center of this story is an attorney by the name of James Otis…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – The recent hyperbolic, and in some cases, the hysterical reaction of the elites who are being forced to live with the consequences of their policies shows not only their hypocrisy but just how little they think of the American people. Perhaps we should consider this fact as we look at their proposed policies…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – As I’ve watched what has happened, especially over the last few years, I’ve seen something more dangerous to our rights and more destructive to liberty. That the bureaucracy is only a part of a much larger beast bent on consuming America and transforming it into what we fought against during the Cold War…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – In the 21st century, many Americans are not only tamely surrendering their liberties, but are bending the knee to the growing tyranny around us. Think about how many examples there are of people not only giving in, but pledging their fidelity to the tyrants in Washington, D.C., your state house, and even your…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Those of you old enough to remember the TV show Hee-Haw probably remember the song “Gloom, Despair, and Agony on Me.” It was part of a skit where men would sit around complaining about their life. As I look at the news, I’ve been struck by the use of “emergencies” and “disasters” to run…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – It seems the vast majority of the American people spend about as much time thinking about the Constitution as they do what happens to the stuff they flush down the toilet. While the Constitution is ink on parchment, what it says and what it stands for is so much more. Let me give you some suggestions…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – We’ve all seen it, the person who attacks someone only to complain when that same standard is applied to them. Nowadays, that seems to be the anthem for our political parties. However, looking at how people react when they are held up to their own standards should tell us something about our…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – How much have these “science hoaxes” cost We the People, not just in dollars, but in rights and liberty? How long will the American people fall for the lie that just because someone receives a government paycheck, we should believe everything they say?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – America did not get to this place ⏤ overnight. We are reaping the whirlwind of decades of apathy, neglect, indoctrination, and our own willingness to sell our birthright for a bunch of empty promises. Will we once again rise to the call of liberty and justice for all that we claim our flag stands for?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Will the American people succumb to the beatings? Will we give up and comply in the vain hopes that life will get better? Or will we listen to the words of Captain John Parker?
