The Constitution Study
Weekdays 4 PM ET
The American people, through ignorance and apathy, have lost their love for their rights and liberties. Our rights are trampled daily by governments, universities, the media, and businesses both large and small. Yet the vast majority of Americans not only bow to the pressure to relinquish their rights, they frequently ask for them to be taken. What are we to do?
Since 2014 Paul Engel has been helping everyday Americans read and study the Constitution of their country and teaching the rising generation to be free. In this program, Paul uses news and current events as a springboard to help explain the Constitution and encourage others to stand up for their rights, their children’s rights, and those of the nation.
The goal of this program is to help everyday people defend their rights by reading, studying, and understanding the supreme law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America. Author and speaker, Paul Engel has spent more than 20 years studying and teaching about both the Bible and the U.S. Constitution. That experience helps Paul explain difficult concepts in a way most people can understand. As one manager described, “Paul can take the most complex idea and explain it in a way my grandmother can understand.”
Want someone to clean up your water supply? Want someone to make sure your baby’s formula is good for them? Just ask government. But have you noticed how often government screws up what we ask them to regulate? Of course, it’s never their fault. All they ask is for you to give them more money, power, and control, and they’ll fix everything?
Memorial Day is a day set aside to remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice so that we can live free. So today, I want to focus on the freedoms and liberty these men and women fought and died for. And I want to start with a simple question….
Do WHO treaties and regulations have legal standing here in America? What should the people do in the face of these attempts to control us? Then there’s the Monkeypox scare that’s all over the news. Looking at how badly not only the WHO, but our own federal “public health” agencies…
Biden and his administration have claimed the authority to mandate the American people participate in a medical experiment if they want to work, determine what they can buy, how they will heat their home, run their car, and regulate the US economy. These “Declaratory Acts” are just as egregious violations of our rights, liberty, and the supreme law of the land as those in 1766…
The fundamental point of the Nuremberg Code was the requirement of informed consent before a person is allowed to participate in an experimental treatment. So why is it who controls your body seems to depend on whether they like the procedure or not? Today we are speaking with Stephanie Coxon…
When it comes to infringing on people’s religious freedom rights, I’ve seen everyone from courts to politicians to everyday citizens claim “separation of church and state.” I know several people who will point out that those words are not in the Constitution. However, the idea of the concept of separation of church and state does exist in the First Amendment, just not the way most people today use it. The Constitution Study with Paul Engel on America Out Loud Talk Radio can be heard weekdays at 4 pm ET. Listen on iHeart Radio, our world-class media player, or our free apps on Apple, Android, or Alexa. Listen to other episodes of The Constitution Study, available on podcast.
Which side are you on? I believe the easiest way know for sure is to answer this question, “do the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one? Which side will win in this socio-economic tug-o-war between collectivism and individuality?
How far should you be allowed to go when you disagree with someone? Is it OK to boycott a business with a policy you don’t like? Is it OK to encourage others to join you? At what point does influence become intimidation? I’ve invited Michael McCarthy to talk about his article. “All It Takes is 5 Monkeys and the Cancel Culture is Empowered.”
Today, the government in Washington, DC, claims powers that its powers are numerous and indefinite, and it is the states which have limited powers. Recent history has shown that by allowing those in Washington, DC, numerous and indefinite powers has led to some truly despotic consequences…
Neither party is innocent in our recent decline into evils of tyranny, despotism, and servitude. The main difference seems to be how fast we get there. Sadly, too many Americans have stood back and watched while those who wish to rule others have taken control. Will we simply watch while freedom and liberty in America are beaten into a bloody pulp?
America in the 2020s is heading down the same as China was in the 1960s. The Cultural Revolutions included the mobilization of the youth, often to violently demonstrate in favor of the party, harassing, even jailing those who disagreed with the party, and demonizing anyone who disagreed with the party. Looking at America today, what do you see?
What happens when, rather than changing the hypothesis, “scientists” change the test to get the outcome they desire? That is exactly what has been happening for decades in the “climate science” community. Today, I have Dr. Jay Lehr, Senior Policy Analyst with the International Climate Science Coalition…
Rather than assumptions and hyperbole, we have their own words proving that they intend to take away our Freedoms of Speech and Press. Now that we have facts, what are the American people doing about it? Isn’t it about time that the American people not only demand that our servants in government enforce the law but punish those who violate it?
John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison all warned us about the dangers of democracies, that they are turbulent, dangerous, and never last long. If you want proof of the dangers of democracy, you need only look at the reaction to the leak of a draft Supreme Court opinion…
