The Constitution Study
Weekdays 4 PM ET
The American people, through ignorance and apathy, have lost their love for their rights and liberties. Our rights are trampled daily by governments, universities, the media, and businesses both large and small. Yet the vast majority of Americans not only bow to the pressure to relinquish their rights, they frequently ask for them to be taken. What are we to do?
Since 2014 Paul Engel has been helping everyday Americans read and study the Constitution of their country and teaching the rising generation to be free. In this program, Paul uses news and current events as a springboard to help explain the Constitution and encourage others to stand up for their rights, their children’s rights, and those of the nation.
The goal of this program is to help everyday people defend their rights by reading, studying, and understanding the supreme law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America. Author and speaker, Paul Engel has spent more than 20 years studying and teaching about both the Bible and the U.S. Constitution. That experience helps Paul explain difficult concepts in a way most people can understand. As one manager described, “Paul can take the most complex idea and explain it in a way my grandmother can understand.”
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – If you want to see where PC is going, look no further than the European Union. One EU commissioner sent a letter to Elon Musk warning him that there would be consequences if they thought he violated their Digital Services Agreement during his interview with Donald Trump. Also, in fiscal year 2024, the federal government borrowed an average of $5 billion each and every day…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Election manipulation threatens the integrity of our republic. From federal agencies hiding facts to political parties influencing candidate selection, these tactics are exposed. With investigations reopened and noncitizens found on voter rolls, it’s clear that vigilant oversight is essential. We must ensure our elections remain free, fair, and transparent to preserve the consent of the governed.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Our nation’s commitment to “liberty and justice for all” is threatened by those seeking to politicize the courts. Recent efforts to reform the judiciary, led by Biden, Harris, and Schumer, echo dangerous historical precedents. When courts are packed, justice becomes biased, and the law loses its meaning. If we undermine the rule of law, how can we uphold true liberty and justice in our society?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – In today’s world, censorship isn’t just a government issue—private actors, institutions, and even individuals feel free to suppress opposing views. From social media control to boycotting businesses, these actions shape collective thought and challenge the idea of free expression. Are we heading towards a collectivist society, or can we preserve the individualism our Founding Fathers intended?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – In George Orwell’s *1984*, the dangers of a totalitarian government are vividly portrayed. What was meant as a warning now eerily mirrors modern America. The government’s collusion with social media to censor speech and control thought is alarming. Have the elites misunderstood Orwell’s message, or is his dystopian vision becoming our reality?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – The Democratic Party claims to defend democracy, but its actions reveal a socialist agenda. By disregarding the Constitution, manipulating elections, and supporting Marxist regimes, the party undermines the principles it professes to uphold. Despite their democratic label, their true intent aligns with a totalitarian vision, threatening the very democracy they claim to protect.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – In the midst of another election cycle, scandals persist, revealing deep-rooted corruption in the electoral process. Despite years of investigations, issues like non-citizen voting and judicial overreach plague our system. Ironically, the same electorate tolerates these inconsistencies, echoing Einstein’s definition of insanity: repeating mistakes and expecting different results. Are we learning from history?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – In today’s world, trust in the media is severely eroded. Reflecting on Thomas Jefferson’s advice to uphold truth and sound principles, I explore how the media, politicians, and institutions fail us. Jefferson’s warnings about a corrupted press resonate deeply, prompting a personal approach to uncovering truth amidst overwhelming information. Embracing diverse voices helps navigate these challenges.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Recent federal court decisions have sparked significant reactions, highlighting the dynamic interplay between politics and the judiciary. In cases like Murthy v. Missouri and Trump v. United States, judicial rulings provoke actions such as the FBI’s election memo and Senator Schumer’s “No Kings Act.” This episode explores the far-reaching implications of these decisions and the responses they trigger.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Silence may be considered golden, but it is often deadly. Miscommunication, like in the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, shows how silence can have dire consequences. Silence allows government misbehavior, as it equates to consent. When citizens fail to speak up against government actions, they tacitly approve, undermining democracy. Is silence golden or deadly?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – In 1937, Franklin D. Roosevelt wasn’t getting his way in the Supreme Court, so he threatened to pack it. In 2024, Joe Biden and the Left aren’t getting their way in the Supreme Court, so they’re threatening to transform it. The White House recently released a fact sheet stating that Biden doesn’t plan to “reform the Supreme Court.” What it describes can…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Trust is fragile; it takes years to build and seconds to break. Despite numerous examples of government corruption and misinformation, many people still follow blindly. From misleading statistics by the FBI and climate alarmists to unauthorized government spending and the push for “medically necessary” treatments, our trust is continually tested. Why do we still believe them?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – As the Supreme Court wraps up its term in June, its most controversial decisions ripple across the nation, affecting everything from Chevron Deference to the power of Administrative Law Courts. This year’s impactful opinions promise more than just waves; they might create a tsunami of change, with significant secondary and tertiary consequences yet to unfold.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Throughout history, revolutions often start with the hope for a better future but end in dystopian outcomes, as seen in France, Russia, and China. In today’s political climate, the debate intensifies around progressivism and leadership. With Joe Biden stepping down, the focus shifts to Kamala Harris and the potential consequences of her presidency.
