The Constitution Study
Weekdays 4 PM ET
The American people, through ignorance and apathy, have lost their love for their rights and liberties. Our rights are trampled daily by governments, universities, the media, and businesses both large and small. Yet the vast majority of Americans not only bow to the pressure to relinquish their rights, they frequently ask for them to be taken. What are we to do?
Since 2014 Paul Engel has been helping everyday Americans read and study the Constitution of their country and teaching the rising generation to be free. In this program, Paul uses news and current events as a springboard to help explain the Constitution and encourage others to stand up for their rights, their children’s rights, and those of the nation.
The goal of this program is to help everyday people defend their rights by reading, studying, and understanding the supreme law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America. Author and speaker, Paul Engel has spent more than 20 years studying and teaching about both the Bible and the U.S. Constitution. That experience helps Paul explain difficult concepts in a way most people can understand. As one manager described, “Paul can take the most complex idea and explain it in a way my grandmother can understand.”
From criminal charges to civil suits, one of the main duties of government is to hear these cases and attempt to find justice. But like any other human system, there are flaws in the judiciary. Today, let’s take a look at some examples of the good and the bad. Maybe, when we learn more about how the system is supposed to work…
From your right to control your business to suits about searches and surveillance, there are plenty of examples of people trying to protect their rights. If they succeed, they will protect your rights as well. Today, I want to look at several lawsuits, some state and some federal, where people are attempting to protect their rights…
Since COVID dominated so much of 2021, we should look at some of the consequences of the decisions made and our unwillingness to hold our elected employees accountable to their oaths of office. Some of the best things that happened in 2021 were the American people who stood up to the tyranny…
Over time, government schools have become less about educating children and more about turning them into people who will follow directions and do what they’re told. What happens when the American people are ignorant of basic civics, their rights, and their responsibilities?
In recent court filings, Meta admitted that the Facebook Fact-Checking system is a “protected opinion”. How many people trust Facebook to check the facts for them? For that matter, how many are trusting government bureaucrats to check their facts. Only in the crucible of free speech can we weed out what is an opinion and what is a fact…
Do you think there will be a swelling of a love of liberty in the hearts of the American people in 2022? With the tyranny and infringement of rights that exploded in 2021 be rolled back in 2022? Based on recent history, the prognosis is not good. If We the People wish to live free, it will not come from some edict or campaign promise…
We need to look at some examples of why we shouldn’t blindly trust government officials. How placing our trust in courts and bureaucracies actual makes us slaves to them rather than free people. Then I answer the questions of how to determine if someone is trustworthy and how you can prepare yourself to be freer in 2022…
If those of us who are willing to stand for liberty don’t stand together, those who want to take our liberty will pick us off one by one. The good news is that there are more and more reports of people standing up for their rights, and businesses and agencies backing off. The battle isn’t won, but we should take the good news when…
Ever walk into a business, only to be confronted by some “Karen” about wearing a mask, asking about your medical records, or being scanned with a thermometer? Some people stand up and shout about the tyranny, others simply comply so they can do what needs to be done and get out. Find out how you will be able to use this app to highlight those businesses that protect your rights…
Whether you want to own or carry arms or not, protecting the people’s right to do so is central to the protection of liberty. Why are so many people seeking to take away the rights of the people to defend themselves? Could it be the lack of teaching the reason our Founding Fathers included the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights?
From disaster relief to the poor, from paying for schools to paying for healthcare, we all seem to want the bullies based in Washington, D.C., or our state houses to collect money for us. Yet few seem to consider the consequences of such actions. The Bible says that the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil…
From those who will not tolerate Christmas, the idea that a black man committed a hoax, or that there was corruption in the 2020 presidential election, the number of people who will not tolerate a differing position seems to be growing. When intolerance grows, liberty declines. They are saying, “You do not have the right to think differently.” That is not only where liberty dies, but the truth as well…
Taking the time to enjoy the good news is very important. From the Omicron variant to attempts to repeal unconstitutional and illegal mandates, we should not forget there is good news. And when we learn to look at the facts and data rather than the personality, we can live as free citizens again…
With the holiday shopping season in full swing, advertising for “smart home” devices is everywhere. I wonder how many of the people buying these devices realized they are installing listening devices that are sending everything they hear to the parent company for analysis? Then, we’ll look at some recent efforts of those in government to keep hidden what…
