The Constitution Study
Weekdays 4 PM ET
The American people, through ignorance and apathy, have lost their love for their rights and liberties. Our rights are trampled daily by governments, universities, the media, and businesses both large and small. Yet the vast majority of Americans not only bow to the pressure to relinquish their rights, they frequently ask for them to be taken. What are we to do?
Since 2014 Paul Engel has been helping everyday Americans read and study the Constitution of their country and teaching the rising generation to be free. In this program, Paul uses news and current events as a springboard to help explain the Constitution and encourage others to stand up for their rights, their children’s rights, and those of the nation.
The goal of this program is to help everyday people defend their rights by reading, studying, and understanding the supreme law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America. Author and speaker, Paul Engel has spent more than 20 years studying and teaching about both the Bible and the U.S. Constitution. That experience helps Paul explain difficult concepts in a way most people can understand. As one manager described, “Paul can take the most complex idea and explain it in a way my grandmother can understand.”
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – The Democratic Party claims to defend democracy, but its actions reveal a socialist agenda. By disregarding the Constitution, manipulating elections, and supporting Marxist regimes, the party undermines the principles it professes to uphold. Despite their democratic label, their true intent aligns with a totalitarian vision, threatening the very democracy they claim to protect.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – In the midst of another election cycle, scandals persist, revealing deep-rooted corruption in the electoral process. Despite years of investigations, issues like non-citizen voting and judicial overreach plague our system. Ironically, the same electorate tolerates these inconsistencies, echoing Einstein’s definition of insanity: repeating mistakes and expecting different results. Are we learning from history?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – In today’s world, trust in the media is severely eroded. Reflecting on Thomas Jefferson’s advice to uphold truth and sound principles, I explore how the media, politicians, and institutions fail us. Jefferson’s warnings about a corrupted press resonate deeply, prompting a personal approach to uncovering truth amidst overwhelming information. Embracing diverse voices helps navigate these challenges.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Recent federal court decisions have sparked significant reactions, highlighting the dynamic interplay between politics and the judiciary. In cases like Murthy v. Missouri and Trump v. United States, judicial rulings provoke actions such as the FBI’s election memo and Senator Schumer’s “No Kings Act.” This episode explores the far-reaching implications of these decisions and the responses they trigger.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Silence may be considered golden, but it is often deadly. Miscommunication, like in the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, shows how silence can have dire consequences. Silence allows government misbehavior, as it equates to consent. When citizens fail to speak up against government actions, they tacitly approve, undermining democracy. Is silence golden or deadly?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – In 1937, Franklin D. Roosevelt wasn’t getting his way in the Supreme Court, so he threatened to pack it. In 2024, Joe Biden and the Left aren’t getting their way in the Supreme Court, so they’re threatening to transform it. The White House recently released a fact sheet stating that Biden doesn’t plan to “reform the Supreme Court.” What it describes can…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Trust is fragile; it takes years to build and seconds to break. Despite numerous examples of government corruption and misinformation, many people still follow blindly. From misleading statistics by the FBI and climate alarmists to unauthorized government spending and the push for “medically necessary” treatments, our trust is continually tested. Why do we still believe them?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – As the Supreme Court wraps up its term in June, its most controversial decisions ripple across the nation, affecting everything from Chevron Deference to the power of Administrative Law Courts. This year’s impactful opinions promise more than just waves; they might create a tsunami of change, with significant secondary and tertiary consequences yet to unfold.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Throughout history, revolutions often start with the hope for a better future but end in dystopian outcomes, as seen in France, Russia, and China. In today’s political climate, the debate intensifies around progressivism and leadership. With Joe Biden stepping down, the focus shifts to Kamala Harris and the potential consequences of her presidency.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – There are families that do not talk because of political hatred or hatred of other people simply because they are members of a different political party, and this hatred sometimes leads to more deadly consequences. Donald Trump is not the first politician to have had to deal with an assassination attempt. Steve Scalise, Justice Kavanaugh, and Nancy Pelosi are just a few of the recent targets…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – We the People do not elect a President of the United States, the states do, but I understand why. As election day approaches and we continue to observe the machinations of the political parties, wouldn’t it be nice to know how the process works, how the political parties have manipulated it to their advantage, and how Congress meddles in the election?
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Witnessing a 1960s movie about motorists chasing hidden loot feels oddly similar to today’s world. Biden drops out of the presidential race, Kamala Harris steps in, and an assassination attempt on Trump sparks bipartisan chaos. As Rudyard Kipling said, we must keep our heads while others lose theirs. The world seems like a mad, mad place…
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – When someone is unhappy about leaving, they often throw parting shots. Biden, forced to abandon his campaign for another term as President, might be no different. Whether due to outside forces or internal politics, his departure is far from amicable. Expect some final jabs from him, adding to the many illegal and unconstitutional actions we’ve seen over the last four years.
The Constitution Study with Host Paul Engel – Ignorance of the Constitution is widespread in America, with alarming consequences. Many cannot name a single First Amendment freedom, and most federal spending violates constitutional limits. Politicians from both parties misunderstand constitutional principles, leading to misguided laws and proposals. Our lack of constitutional knowledge is not just a problem; it actively harms our nation.
