The Dean’s List
Weekdays 2 pm ET
On October 4, 1790, Samuel Adams sat down to write a letter to his cousin, John Adams, who was vice president of the United States. Samuel Adams stated: “Let patriots unite their endeavors to renovate the age, by . . . educating their sons and daughters in the fear of the Lord . . . love of their country and . . . the art of self-government.”
The word renovate means “To renew; to restore to the first state, or a good state, after decay, destruction or depravation.” It may seem surprising to us that Adams expressed the need to renovate the age, being as it was, such an early time in our nation’s existence. Is it possible he felt the teachings of the Fear of the Lord, Love of Country, and the Art of Self-Government were entering a state of decay?
Ronald Reagan stated, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” Could it be that EVERY generation needs to Renovate the Age? The Dean’s List is a show resolved to Renovate the Age by shining the light of truth on the decaying American education system while also shining the light of hope for parents and grandparents who will endeavor to reclaim ownership of their children’s and grandchildren’s education.
The Dean’s List with Host Dean Bowen – Seattle and Illinois public schools are facing a crisis as Marxist ideologies take over the education system. Seattle plans to close 20 elementary schools due to a massive budget deficit, while Illinois grapples with skyrocketing absenteeism rates. Both states are seeing a mass exodus of students, further worsening the already declining quality of education.
The Dean’s List with Host Dean Bowen – In Kamala’s America, illegal immigrants now attempt to board school buses filled with children, raising serious concerns about safety and border security. Meanwhile, universities like Maryland allow anti-Israel protests on the anniversary of a brutal Hamas attack. The current state of our nation demands we prioritize our children and national integrity before it’s too late.
The Dean’s List with Host Dean Bowen – In a recent court case, a teacher challenges her school district’s policy on compelled speech, specifically regarding the use of students’ preferred pronouns. The judge’s ruling emphasizes that speech cannot be forced, highlighting the ongoing debate between First Amendment rights and school policies. This case underscores the broader implications for educators and free speech in America.
The Dean’s List with Host Dean Bowen – Discover the overlooked details of the Battle of Long Island, where George Washington’s army narrowly escapes disaster. Uncover how a storm and a dense fog play pivotal roles, leading many to believe in divine intervention. Learn why these miraculous events are no longer taught in schools and explore the importance of bringing this perspective back into education.
The Dean’s List with Host Dean Bowen – Jewish students at Columbia University take a bold stand, filing a class action lawsuit against campus organizations and members of Congress for inciting violence and creating an unsafe environment. The students, supported by attorney Daniel Suhr, highlight the coordinated efforts behind the protests and demand accountability for the unlawful actions that disrupted their campus life.

The Dean’s List with Host Dean Bowen – In today’s world, young people face challenges unlike any before. By sharing stories of courage, like that of Dolley Madison, we help them develop strong character traits. Instead of schools focusing on gender ideology, education should prioritize virtues that prepare students to navigate life’s difficulties with resilience and integrity, ensuring a stronger future for them.
The Dean’s List with Host Dean Bowen – California struggles with declining Kindergarten attendance despite legislative efforts to mandate it. With 36% of students missing a month of school, questions arise about the perceived value of education. Exploring the root causes of absenteeism reveals a disconnect between what schools offer and what parents and students find valuable in today’s education system.
The Dean’s List with Host Dean Bowen – I engage with Sean Feucht, the leader of “Let Us Worship,” discussing the movement’s rise during California’s pandemic lockdowns. Sean shares the mission of hosting worship events at every state capital, concluding at the Washington Mall. I also highlight a troubling issue in California’s education system, where a school board allowed a pornographic textbook, later removed after parents’ outrage.
The Dean’s List with Host Dean Bowen – Poorly educated students at the DNC showcase the consequences of Marxist influence on our education system. Instead of seeking solutions, they demand others act on their behalf. This behavior reveals the dangerous erosion of true education, where a well-educated student would recognize the importance of the Constitution and reject the misleading rhetoric of American Marxists.
The Dean’s List with Host Dean Bowen – The Supreme Court temporarily blocks Biden’s Title IX changes, which redefine sex discrimination to include sexual orientation and gender identity. This ruling impacts public K12 schools and sparks debate over the future of Title IX’s purpose. As the legal battle unfolds, questions arise about the implications for women’s rights and the broader cultural landscape.

Walz’s embrace of Marxist values sacrificing merit for diversity is a fool’s game

The Dean’s List with Host Dean Bowen – Charles Carroll, the last living signer of the Declaration of Independence, embodied intellectual virtues like prudence, which are sorely lacking today. As Marxist-Democrats push ideologically driven education reforms, true wisdom is being ignored. The consequences are evident in policies that prioritize diversity over merit, leading to indoctrination rather than genuine learning in our schools.
