Chicago’s Magnificent Mile is no longer magnificent. The riots on our city streets are a symptom of a greater illness as the November election gets closer. On today’s show, Michael Johns joins me and we discuss the condition of our troubled country, the race for the White House, and what we will have to face as we make our decisions moving forward.
Chinese Ice Cutters in the Arctic? Chinese fishing fleet off Galapagos Islands? China’s huge dam that may fail? And the massive floods? And what’s with these Chinese seeds? What in the world is China up to?
The big story this week has been the growing number of riots in America’s major cities, huge floods in China, the changing issues of the pandemic, and a circus in Congress (nothing new there).
What is happening to America and how can we rediscover our soul? This week we’ll talk about the chaos in our streets, the leaders who are betraying our Constitution, and the international news that affects us here at home.
When the China Virus, and the Black Live Matters demonstrations and riots, burst into our lives in the midst of a Presidential campaign, we found ourselves caught in a vortex of a Perfect Storm. Here is what it is and what it means. . . .
FIGHTING THE INSURRECTION IN AMERICA – I’m angry! There is a whole generation of know-nothing people – most of them under thirty – who are trying to pull down the work of giants. And I have plenty to say about that. Image: Minnesota Reformer
Andrew Cuomo is a liar and a fraud. And more than that, he is personally responsible for the deaths of more than 6,200 elderly New Yorkers. Black Lives Matter is much more than it appears – and heavily funded. Trump’s first rally since COVID-19 was a winner, in spite of Democrats’ dirty tricks. And there was more there than met the eye. You’ve gotta hear this.
Stories of tyranny appear to be the norm today, yet there are also stories of courage that need to be showcased and talked about. That is the premise of the program today. Where is Kim Jong Un? And who is Kim Yo Jong? Who’s in charge here? And what’s with the city within a city in Seattle? And why are they saying there is a second wave when in most cases it’s really something else entirely? This will be an interesting show with a few surprises.
The worst of the riots are over, but the demonstrations are growing and now they want to defund and disband the police? Will they succeed? Will our cities become battlegrounds? America is at the junction and the path we take will decide our future. We still have a Republic, but can we keep it? Image: AP
Just as the re-opening of America was about to begin, the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota ripped open old wounds in the worst possible way. Rioting broke out across the country and, not surprisingly, it was not the locals making all the trouble. Funded by George Soros, outside agitators from gangs and groups like ANTIFA tore up the streets in major cities all over the country. What do you do with looters who come from somewhere else to destroy your city, your neighborhood, your livelihood?
Courage. It comes in many forms. We don’t all have it in the most obvious ways, and we certainly don’t show it on a daily basis. But deep inside of most of us is a kernel of something so strong, so powerful that, in a moment of danger or stress or survival, we somehow find it and it carries us through. And sometimes it not only saves us, but it enables us to save others. And it’s that kind of courage that is there when we need it.
Where is Kim Jong-Un? That is the deep mystery of the week. Kim Jong Un is the Supreme Leader of North Korea – the driver of its nuclear ambitions and the potential launcher of deadly missiles aimed at its neighbors – like Japan and South Korea – and even at us. And he’s been MIA for more than two weeks? What’s up with that?
Several major stories connected to the pandemic and how the left is trying to politicize it by blaming every difficulty on what they want us to think is the President’s incompetence. But they can’t fool us. Despite being misled by those who were supposed to provide him with their expertise, Donald Trump has acted in a timely manner and with the power of his office. Image: AP
Yes, Virginia. It’s Okay to Blame China! Because China is responsible for one of the worst pandemics in history. They created a monster of a virus, they released it (by mistake or on purpose), they hid the local epidemic that resulted, they allowed thousands of Chinese people to leave China and visit the world, and they refused to take responsibility and blamed America.
