The Other Side of The Story
Sat | Sun 7 pm ET
Journalists used to consider it their solemn obligation to report on the issues they covered from a variety of perspectives. This is no longer the case. More than a decade ago, reporters abandoned the responsibility to be open to alternative viewpoints as the media organizations they worked for became wholly-owned subsidiaries of liberal, so-called progressive corporations. Then, as we got more and more of our ‘news’ via the Internet from Google, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media, Orwellian censorship became the norm.
Tom Harris and Todd Royal break through this iron curtain of political correctness, giving listeners THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY on issues in science, technology, politics, health, and even entertainment. Whether you agree with their perspectives or not, THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STORY is your must-listen antidote to the propaganda of the Fourth Estate.
Tom Harris is Executive Director of the Ottawa, Canada-based International Climate Science Coalition and a policy advisor to The Heartland Institute. He has 42 years of experience as a mechanical/aerospace engineer, science and technology communications professional, and S&T advisor to a former Opposition Senior Environment Critic in Canada’s Parliament.
Todd Royal is a McKinney, Texas-based energy policy expert and author. A graduate of Pepperdine University’s School of Public Policy, Todd’s expertise has informed the United States Department of Energy, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Congress, and the States of Kentucky, California, and Texas. His subject matter expertise covers hydraulic fracking, green hydrogen, battery storage technologies and nuclear reactors. A member of The Screen Actors Guild, Todd is also a trained actor with experience on stage, on television, in film and as a voice actor.
The Other Side of the Story with Tom Harris – Exploring the health issues faced by rural residents near industrial wind turbines, this episode dives into the costly and risky Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for wind and solar backup. I discuss with electricity expert Parker Gallant about the fire hazards, soaring electricity costs, and our growing dependence on China for batteries and materials, questioning the actual reduction in…
The Other Side of the Story with Tom Harris – This week, we explore the distressing health impacts of industrial wind turbines on residents. Hear from health experts and affected locals about debilitating symptoms and groundwater contamination risks. Join us as we discuss Representative Carrie Barth’s dedicated fight in the Kansas House to safeguard communities against these environmental and health menaces. Tune in for this…
The Other Side of the Story with Tom Harris – We delve into the controversial issue of wind turbines and health. Professor Mariana Alves-Pereira joins us to uncover the truth behind the physical symptoms people living near turbines often experience. With a deep dive into the science of infrasound, we explore whether these complaints are a result of the nocebo effect or a genuine biological response to low-frequency noise. Tune in to…
The Other Side of the Story with Tom Harris – Farmers signing contracts for industrial wind turbines on their lands are silenced by “gag orders”, preventing them from discussing potential health impacts. Despite receiving substantial annual payments, their stories remain unheard. However, neighbors like Ruby Mekker, a mother, retired teacher, and advocate, bravely share their experiences. Ruby delves into the health concerns…
The Other Side of the Story with Tom Harris – Imagine waking up to the ceaseless roar of a nearby industrial wind turbine. In West Lincoln township, Ontario, this is our harsh reality. Despite promises, 77 massive turbines now loom here. In a candid interview, Shellie Correia and I delve into the life-altering impacts of living so close to these giants, revealing the community discord and health issues spawned, urging everyone to reconsider…
The Other Side of the Story with Tom Harris – In 2022, the World Economic Forum reveals that 70% of young people are deeply concerned about climate change. Yet, as I discuss in “Climate Alarmism – A Modern Day PSYOP,” much of this fear stems from a psychological operation, not reliable science. Dr. Matthew Wielicki, a climate realist, debunks these fears, highlighting the real crisis: the mental health of our youth. Dive into the…
The Other Side of the Story with Tom Harris – I debunk common myths about wind and solar power, exposing the overlooked environmental damage they cause. Join me as I converse with professional engineer Bill Fellner, offering an insider’s perspective on the hidden impacts of these popular energy sources. We delve into the untold stories of toxic waste, wildlife harm, and atmospheric heating, aiming to shine a light on the…
The Other Side of the Story with Tom Harris – I’m exposing the dangerous path of transitioning from reliable hydrocarbon fuels to intermittent wind and solar power. Drawing parallels with the Texas blackout, I reveal the unseen consequences, including soaring pollution and human rights abuses, and a growing dependence on China. Discover the overlooked impacts and the realities of a non-existent man-made climate crisis in today’s…
The Other Side of the Story with Tom Harris – In today’s society, widely accepted values often overshadow scientific facts, especially in the climate change discourse. While we champion freedom of speech, voicing against popular opinion can have harsh repercussions, notably in academic circles. Join me as I converse with Dr. Judith Curry, a renowned climate scientist, delving deep into the complexities of climate science and the…
The Other Side of the Story with Tom Harris – Scientists study the early universe by gazing back in time to the most distant stars in far-away galaxies. There are, however, some unresolved issues, such as stars and galaxies that appear to be much older than the accepted age of the universe at 13.7 billion years old. This is called the “Impossible Early Galaxy Problem.” Today, guest host Mary-Jean Harris interviews Dr. Gupta, and he…
The Other Side of the Story with Tom Harris – Environmentalists tell us that America is about to be hit with unparalleled climate and weather disasters due to its use of hydrocarbon fuels—coal, oil, and natural gas. The solution, they say, is a mass conversion to solar and wind power, backed up by batteries, pumped storage, or stored hydrogen to provide power when the wind is not blowing or the sun is not shining. The goal is to get…
The Other Side of the Story with Tom Harris – No wonder most mainstream media steer clear of interviewing geologists concerning current climate change concerns. As demonstrated in today’s episode with guest Dr. Ian Plimer, Emeritus Professor of Geology from the University of Melbourne, Australia, today’s changes are trivial compared to natural climate change that has occurred repeatedly over the past 4.5 billion years. Consider…
The Other Side of the Story with Tom Harris – Politicians and their supporters in mainstream media and activist groups tell us we must keep the so-called “global average temperature” from rising 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels. This target makes no sense for many reasons, one of which is that we really don’t know what pre-industrial temperatures actually were. In fact, we cannot know since there were so few…
