What if we lost electric power … for years? Would you be prepared? There is virtually no discussion or attention on America’s electrical grid, yet the risk is real. When you lose electrical service for minutes or hours⏤it is inconvenient. If you were to lose electric for weeks, months, or years⏤the scenario would be entirely different. You would have to change your way of life. Life would de dramatically different almost immediately, and it would change not for the better with each passing day. If the United States is attacked with the intended target being our technology⏤the result could have meaningful consequences to everyday life as we know it. It could also be an electromagnetic pulse (EMP), caused by natural occurrences that causes an extended blackout. Either way the result would be heavy damage to our infrastructure, requiring life-altering steps to preserve our way of life. Crumbling roads, unsafe bridges, drinking water, air traffic system are all in serious need of repair⏤America’s infrastructure is desperately in need of investment, according to the American Society of Civil Engineers. “What if we went back through all the family trees and just pulled those people out that were products of rape and incest? Would there be any population of the world left if we did that?” Rep. Democratic presidential front-runner, Joe Biden says “President Trump is ‘fueling a literal carnage,” reports the AP. While in Iowa, Biden says that Trump is incapable of offering the moral leadership that has defined the presidency over the course of history. He goes on to say that voters “cannot let this man be re-elected president of the United States of America.” When Biden was questioned on the success of the economy, he had this to say, “The reason this is the longest expansion in history is because of Barack Obama and my administration.” Elizabeth Warren told the NYT “without hesitation” that Trump gave white supremacists aid and comfort. “He’s done the wink and a nod,” she said. “He has talked about white supremacists as fine people.
