The Top Stories: RNC, Donald Trump is nominated for four more years | President Trump on Thursday accepted the Republican nomination for the 2020 race against Democrat Joe Biden in a speech that went about 70 minutes. The contrast between the two candidates and the two conventions provided a clear choice for Americans going into the final few months of the 2020 campaign. Rand Paul says he feared being killed during clash with BLM activists | After leaving the Republican National Convention in Washington, DC, Senator Rand Paul was confronted by an angry mob. “They were trying to push the police over to get to me. They were grabbing at us, and it got worse and worse and worse, and finally, we decided to make a move. … they were shouting threats to us, to kill us, to hurt us, but also threats saying shout, shouting, ‘Say her name,’” he said. This became a scene playing all over the DC area as angry mobs confronted citizens⏤leaving many to question the lack of police enforcement and the politics behind these mobs. Nationwide Sports Shutdown | Athletes in the NBA, WNBA, MLS, MLB and pro tennis all refused to play with a mass boycott that quickly became a […]
With the Democratic and Republican conventions now complete and the 2020 political season shifting into high gear, Viewpoint Presents with Malcolm and Michael Johns returns today for Episode Six, tackling President Trump’s 70-minute acceptance speech on the South Lawn of the White House last week, the mounting far-left activism in professional sports (while more centrist voices are silenced), and a look at Biden’s unremarkable and sometimes perplexing 47 years in federal government. Trump’s Acceptance Speech | Contrasting greatly with the Democrats’ convention of gloom, personal attacks, and negativity, the Republican Convention concluded Thursday evening with Trump’s uplifting acceptance speech that offered both an extraordinary and lengthy litany of accomplishments since his January 2017 inauguration along with an ambitious and thoughtful vision for the next four years. Among many highlights, Trump described how Biden spent 47 years telling blue collar workers “he felt their pain, and then flew back to Washington and voted to ship our jobs to China and many other distant lands,” as Trump said in his acceptance speech. The Republican Convention was clearly the more successful of the two conventions with Republicans offering detailed policy solutions to major national challenges (as Democrats spoke in vague, cliche-ridden ways) and proudly […]
The Top Stories | Did the DNC make the case? You were either in the camp that felt that Biden ‘blew a big hole’ in Trump’s characterization of Biden, or you felt that Biden delivered a prime-time speech that was a dark dystopian view of America. Viewership decreased about 17% from the previous DNC when Hillary Clinton accepted the nomination. Democrat Stronghold on America’s Cities | There was no mention of the riots and the civil unrest and violence taking hold in America’s cities at the DNC. Fast changing variables have created the perfect storm here in 2020. How does America start the healing process and save America’s cities? Playing the Trump Card | Written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker, scholar, and New York Times best selling author Dinesh D’Souza, Trump Card is an exposé of the socialism, corruption, and gangsterization that now define the Democratic Party. Trump Card is on-demand October 9th. Dinesh D’Souza is a bestselling author and filmmaker. His films, 2016: Obama’s America and America: Imagine A World Without Her, are respectively the #2 and #6 highest political documentaries of all time. D’Souza’s feature-length film, Hillary’s America, is widely credited with contributing to Hillary Clinton’s defeat in 2016. Viewpoint This Sunday reports on the stories with the goal of […]
Viewpoint Presents with Malcolm and Michael Johns returns for Episode Five as this past week’s unremarkable and toxic four-day Democratic National Convention comes to a close and as the pandemic and street violence continue to prove nationally disruptive. Malcolm and Michael tackle three pressing issues this week: The failure of Democrats to offer much detail to their radical policy proposals or inspire the nation in four consecutive days of prime time national coverage of their convention; a number of important questions that media should be presenting to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris–and, unsurprisingly, aren’t; and the revelation in recent weeks that several publicly-traded companies have made tens of millions of dollars in financial contributions to the violent, Marxist organization behind over two months of street violence that has now inflicted hundreds of millions of dollars in vandalistic damage to America’s cities. DNC’s Negativity | Malcolm and Michael discuss this past week’s Democratic National Convention, concluding that its speakers appeared to consciously avoid discussing their radical and dangerous policy proposals in much detail and appeared also to seek to diminish the visibility of their presidential nominee, Joe Biden, whose 47-year career at the highest levels of American government appears both unremarkable and […]
The Top Stories: Israel & United Arab Emirates Strike Major Agreement | The deal is a “big foreign policy win” for President Trump, with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calling it the “greatest advance toward peace in the Arab world in decades.” Could this be a tectonic shift in Middle East Relations? U.S. Seizes Iranian Fuel From 4 Tankers Bound For Venezuela | The U.S. has seized Iranian petroleum bound for Venezuela aboard four tankers near the Strait of Hormuz. Former FBI attorney to plead guilty in John Durham Russia probe | The former FBI attorney, Kevin Clinesmith, will plead to a single felony count of making a false statement. “Something tells me that Mr. Clinesmith knows where the bodies are buried, and if I were in the FBI working on Crossfire Hurricane, I would be very worried right now,” Senator Graham said. Absentee vs Universal Mail-in Voting – USPS Warns that some mail ballots may not be counted as Congress has no Corona Relief Deal | “The U.S. Postal Service is warning states coast to coast that it cannot guarantee all ballots cast by […]
Viewpoint Presents with Malcolm and Michael Johns returns for Episode Four with a fiery and yet detailed assessment of all that’s at stake in this November’s hugely important presidential and Congressional elections, including economic freedom, the enforcement of the rule of law, and whether or not America makes the mistake of taking a possibly irreversible leap into a socialist future. They also explain the political motives of those behind the pandemic and street riots, and what Americans can do to ensure its liberties and founding principles are defended. 2020 Stakes Malcolm and Michael take a very detailed look at the stakes in this November’s presidential and Congressional elections, including whether we would even recognize America under a Biden/Harris administration. They assess the fiscal, social, and national security policies that Biden would likely implement, including likely increasing taxes on the middle class, vastly increasing the federal government’s role in the economy, possibly cutting Medicare and Social Security benefits for the elderly, doing nothing to secure our nation’s southern border, getting the United States back into hugely flawed global agreements and entanglements, and leading America into a possibly irreversible state of national decline and socialism. Communist China and the Radical Left’s Tactics […]

Concern is growing that social media outlets and the mainstream media will interfere with the election. Update on […]
Viewpoint Presents with Malcolm and Michael Johns returns for Episode Three with a look at the pressing political and public policy developments of the week, including the challenges associated with a presidential campaign that is unfolding in the midst of a national pandemic, a flashback to President Trump’s pre-pandemic accomplishments from January 2017 until the pandemic’s early 2020 onset, and new legislation by U.S. Senator Rand Paul that will afford students flexibility in how U.S. federal education funding is distributed and utilized. Election 2020 | The 2020 presidential campaign is unfolding like no other. The current pandemic is permitting presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden to largely escape the media and national scrutiny that a presidential candidate typically would encounter. This is proving somewhat beneficial to Biden since his misstatements are going largely unscrutinized and the lack of enthusiasm for his candidacy is less obvious than it would be in a more conventional setting. Additionally, both parties’ conventions will now be substantially downgraded without the typical indoor stadium crowds and excitement that typically has been associated with them. Also, three presidential debates and one vice presidential debate have now been scheduled, but are they enough and should they be moved […]

In this inaugural episode of Viewpoint Presents, Malcolm and Michael Johns launch the program with analysis on three key news stories of the week: The 2020 U.S. presidential election, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, questions about its origin and errors in statistical over-reporting of it, and ongoing concerns about China’s aggressive behavior at home and abroad. Encouraging News for President Trump’s Reelection Prospects – First, the American people, by a five point margin, continue to believe Trump is better positioned to manage the economy successfully than his opponent, former Vice President Biden. There is a significant enthusiasm gap between the two candidates with Trump voters much more enthusiastic in their support for him than Biden supporters are for their candidate. This significant gap likely will impact voter turnout in Trump’s favor this November. Reporting Errors in Coronavirus – The number of cases and deaths attributable to coronavirus in the U.S. is likely lower than officially reported. The fact that some coronavirus-positive patients were tested repeatedly with each positive test reported to central databases and that some facilities, including a good number in Florida, were only reporting positive cases, which drove up positive case percentage findings.
