A major escalation has occurred in the Ukraine conflict that could potentially see the United States as the perpetrator of war crimes. Ukraine’s use of US-provided ATACMS missiles has resulted in a devastating attack on a beach in Crimea, killing several civilians, including children, with no genuine military targets. The only way to launch such attacks is with direct US involvement. All of this, as Seymour Hersh reveals, Ukraine’s chances of significant battlefield success remain abysmal. President Biden’s foreign policy ignored peace proposals from Putin that could’ve stopped the bloodshed over two years ago.
The West and NATO are setting up the next stage of the conflict. Russian President Vladimir Putin predicts that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will be replaced by mid-next year due to his unpopular decisions, making him a scapegoat for the West. At the same time, NATO is set to have its next leader be another warmonger who has a distinct animosity towards anything involving Donald Trump.
