At the Texas GOP Convention on May 25, the Texas State Board of Education Chairman, Aaron Kinsey, declared war on the Marxist takeover of public education by delivering a one-two punch.
He unashamedly declared he would go after the three-lettered acronyms such as CRT, DEI, and ESG. This is happening with the new roll-out of a classical curriculum in the State of Texas.
He also stated that providing education options for parents was high on the priority list. Three days later, on May 28, eleven (11) RINO Republicans were ousted from their seats after losing their primary runoff election.
Those eleven (11) RINOs all voted against an amendment in November 2023 that would have created taxpayer-funded education savings accounts (ESAs). Governor Greg Abbott supported the ESA heavily because it would have given parents the freedom to choose how and where their children would be educated.
Abbott threw his full support behind the primary contenders running against the RINO incumbents.
After their victories, Abbott stated: “The Texas Legislature now has enough votes to pass school choice. This is a victory for every Texas family across our great state. While we did not win every race we fought in, the overall message from this year’s primaries is clear: Texans want school choice.”
A Sign of Things to Come
Abbott concluded his statements by acknowledging the will of the people: “Opponents of school choice can no longer ignore the will of the people.”
This is a sign of things to come. We, the People, understand we live in and operate under a Constitutional Republic, wherein elected representatives operate by and through the will of the people. If the Republican representatives do not listen to the conservatives who elected them, they will be removed. The people have had enough.
Parents are especially exasperated by the blatant disregard for their rights when it comes to how and where their children will be educated. Here is their message to representatives: Listen to the voice of the people or be unemployed.
RINOs are no longer safe.
