We lost a courageous, incredible woman, one of our very own, at America Out Loud ⏤ Dr. Marilyn Singelton passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024. She was the host every Monday on America Out Loud PULSE. Dr. Singleton was a hero to so many. Her legacy surely lives on! Her contributions will be felt for generations to come.
Must see video from the Association of American Physicians & Surgeons:
Great Physicians, Like Diamonds, Are Forever.
Rest In Peace @MSingletonMDJD, a hero of American Medicine.

Her final show:
Whatever happened to just having conversations with one another? Thinking out loud can help clarify and add facts to our opinions. In my opinion, society seems to be devolving with more crime, disrespect for the rule of law, and increasing homelessness. Just because society is going off the rails, medicine doesn’t have to join in.
Gay men want health insurance to pay for IVF treatment. Schools socially “transitioning” children from boys to girls and girls to boys without their parent’s knowledge. In Canada, the medical assistance in dying program allows mentally ill people to choose suicide. Canadian physicians actually amputated two healthy fingers from a man with body integrity identity disorder or body integrity dysphoria. The surgeon asserted that “the amputation enabled him to live in alignment with his perceived identity.”
I wonder, has medicine lost its mind? Or am I just old fashioned and I should get with the program?
Tonight, I welcome a great friend to the show, and we will talk about whatever is on our minds about medicine.
