If recent campus uprisings are the result of a morality crisis, as claimed by Columbia University President Minouche Shafik when she last testified before Congress, then Louisiana has found the antidote.
Bring back morality into K12 public schools!
A Louisiana law that requires the Ten Commandments to be displayed in every public school classroom, as well as public university classrooms, went into effect on Wednesday.
Naturally, Marxist opponents on the left are losing their minds.
In a joint statement on Wednesday afternoon, several leftist organizations, including the American Civil Liberties Union, Americans United for Separation of Church and State, and the Freedom from Religion Foundation, claimed the law would prevent students from getting an equal education.
According to the AP, the group also asserted the law will keep children who have different beliefs from feeling safe at school.
“Even among those who may believe in some version of the Ten Commandments, the particular text that they adhere to can differ by religious denomination or tradition. The government should not be taking sides in this theological debate,” the progressive group stated.
What Christian or Muslim student is going to be kept from “feeling safe” because the words on the wall from a Jewish text command them not to lie, steal, or disrespect their parents?
Morality over religion
The Marxists fail to admit that while the Ten Commandments are found in a Jewish text, they are a moral law rather than a religious law.
The government is not involving itself in a “theological debate.” It’s only taking the advice of President Shafik and fixing what ails us by bringing morality back into the classroom.
The sponsor of the law, Representative Dodie Horton, argued that the law is about morality over religion and honors Louisiana’s legislative history.
“The Ten Commandments are the basis of all laws in Louisiana,” she said on the House floor in April. “And given all the junk our children are exposed to in classrooms today, it’s imperative that we put the Ten Commandments back in a prominent position. It doesn’t preach a certain religion, but it definitely shows what a moral code that we all should live by is.”
The Marxists are upset over this law and threatening legal challenges because the lack of morality in public education is what they are using to stir up strife, hatred and anarchy on college campuses.
Assuredly, the Marxists will cite the 1980 Stone v Graham case, wherein Kentucky had a similar law requiring public schools to display the Ten Commandments in every classroom. However, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down the law in a 5-4 vote.
The Court ruled that the Kentucky law was paramount to a government endorsement of “a sacred text in the Jewish and Christian faiths,” which they claimed violated the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.
The Court made this decision while the Ten Commandments were on full display in its own hallowed halls.
As I stated in an earlier article, the Judge who drafted the Majority Opinion had the nerve to state: “If the posted copies of the Ten Commandments are to have any effect at all, it will induce the schoolchildren to read, meditate upon, perhaps to venerate and obey, the Commandments.”
What monsters we would be if we encouraged our children to “read, meditate, or perhaps even obey” just moral laws such as “don’t lie,” “don’t steal,” or, the worst of them all, “obey your parents.”
The Court further stated such acts would not be “a permissible state objective under the Establishment Clause.”
Therein lies the problem with education over the past forty years in America. Our government has not made morality an objective.
Instead of teaching kids not to lie, public education has been promoting such behavior by keeping “gender identity” a secret from parents. So much for honoring their father and mother.
Instead of teaching kids not to steal, our government has given thievery the green light as long as it’s under $1,000.
I believe Americans want the country to move in a different direction. I believe Americans want education to be what it once was.
It would appear that Louisiana is blazing a trail back home to morality.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV.
28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”
I think all of our current problems have their roots in “Stealth Communism”. The Communists have achieved 44 of the 45 goals stated on a list compiled by the FBI back in the 1960s.

That is what is happening today. We are being taught to hate each other, and to doubt our form of government as a constitutional republic. We are thinking the way the Communists are training us to think, without even realizing it. And our government and the mass media and the schools are cooperating!
Americans need to be emphatically and explicitly informed in detail about the subtle tricks and tactics that the Communists have been using on us. Otherwise, our ignorance, the “decadent stupidity of the Capitalists”, will be our downfall.
Strip the trees of leaves and the snipers will be exposed. Then the people will no longer be deceived. WE THE PEOPLE need to expose Stealth Communism!
